Presently, many families may graciously split the cost of the intended wedding three ways. Thus, having the brides family pay one third, the grooms family paying one third and the bride and groom joining together to split the last third. This also provides an avenue of having the pick of one-third the whole total of guests invited to the wedding. On the other hand, there are many couples who provide for the complete wedding by creating their own savings and spending budgets.
Spa days are usually a big hit with bridesmaids and they can be given in preparation for the wedding or as a chance to relax once the wedding is over. Everyone can get together for a spa day to get ready for the wedding and have their hair done and a manicure and pedicure. This way if anyone in your bridal party is unable to afford it, you ensure they are looking and feeling their best for the big day. If you prefer, you can give the spa day for the weeks before or after the wedding.
Other Appropriate Times - The co workers of the bride may decide to give the bride an office shower. At the office shower, those that know the bride well will give her a gift. Generally speaking the gifts are something for the home. But, they are often much less costly than the gifts given at a bridal shower. The office shower is less formal, generally only being a lunch hour occasion. There should also be a cake and/or a deli tray presented to those that come to the shower. The person closest to the bride will give her the shower but a boss can do so as well.
